This role is pivotal in delivering an exceptional fine dining experience. The Front of House Manager supports the General Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring a seamless and elevated guest experience. This role leads the FOH team with a focus on hospitality, service standards, and operational excellence, while fostering a positive and professional environment for both guests and staff.

Essential Functions / Major Responsibilities:
  • Lead by example in upholding and executing Nuri’s service standards, ensuring a consistently exceptional guest experience aligned with our brand values.
  • Foster a team-oriented culture focused on performance, collaboration, feedback, and recognition, while supporting diversity, inclusion, and professional growth.
  • Assist the General Manager in overseeing operational performance, monitoring budgets, and implementing marketing strategies to drive both short-term results and long-term profitability.
  • Ensure accountability through consistent application of company policies, procedures, and legal compliance across all FOH operations.
  • Build strong relationships with guests by maintaining a visible presence on the floor, anticipating needs, and resolving concerns to encourage loyalty and positive word of mouth.
  • Proactively respond to operational challenges and escalate critical matters to the General Manager, VP of Operations, or Director of Culinary when necessary.
  • Contribute to daily operations by supporting side duties, training initiatives, and special projects as needed.
  • Champion Nuri’s service philosophy through consistent execution of service steps and attention to detail in every guest interaction.
 
Required Skills / Abilities / Competencies:
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in high-end or fine dining environments, with a passion for hospitality excellence.
  • Strong ability to mentor, train, and develop FOH staff to maintain high performance and service standards.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on creating memorable guest experiences.
  • Solid business acumen, including proficiency in budgeting, cost control, labor management, and revenue growth strategies.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities with efficiency and poise.
  • In-depth knowledge of food safety protocols, health regulations, and compliance standards.
  • Technologically savvy with experience using restaurant management platforms, POS systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Composed and solutions-oriented under pressure in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
  • A natural ambassador of the restaurant’s mission, culture, and values—fostering inclusivity, excellence, and team alignment.
  • Promote the culture, values, and mission of Restaurant K ensuring alignment with company standards.
  • To inspire people to embrace different cultures of the world.
 
Education and Experience:
  • Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
  • Possess a current Food Handler’s and TABC certification before starting work. 
  • Minimum of two (2) years in fine dining restaurant management.
  • Demonstrated success in leading high-performing teams and delivering outstanding guest experiences.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and develop staff.
  • Proven ability to problem-solve and make effective decisions in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
  • Familiarity with restaurant technology platforms, including POS systems and reporting tools.
 
Work Environment:
  • Working during evenings, weekends, and holidays to accommodate peak dining hours.
  • Occasional exposure to loud noise levels and varying temperatures, particularly when moving between the dining area and kitchen.
  • Handling guest requests or issues in real-time, which may require quick problem-solving and adaptability. 
  • Collaborating with a diverse team of front-of-house and back-of-house staff in a structured yet flexible atmosphere.
 
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to stand for periods of up to eight (8) hours.
  • Must have the stamina to work a minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Be able to reach, bend, and frequently lift (50) pounds at a time. Required to use assistance when available i.e. hand trucks, ramps, or another team member.
  • Must be physically able to navigate the restaurant floor, kitchen, and storage areas, including walking, bending, stretching, squatting, and kneeling as needed.
  • Must be comfortable working in varied conditions, including exposure to heat from the kitchen and cooler temperatures in storage areas.
  • Prolonged periods of desk work, administrative tasks, and computer use required for reporting, scheduling, payroll, and financial oversight.

Compensation: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
